A: Memberships are held by organizations not individual members.

A: Membership is open to employees of healthcare payor and provider organizations as well as those from accredited educational institutions who are interested in supporting the fundamental mission of HDAA and who submit membership applications.

A: Membership growth is achieved through word-of-mouth with our emphasis on quality not quantity.

Q: Who are the founding members of HDAA?

A: HDAA (formerly known as HDWA) originated as a joint effort between Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama and Intermountain Healthcare.
