HDAA discussion forums

The HDAA website hosts discussion forums on a variety of topics, ranging from workforce retention to technology topics like data visualization and advanced analytics in healthcare. The most active forums align with our special interest groups: data governance and literacy, analytic sin Cerner and Epic, data engineering and technology, women in analytics. These website forums are a great way to tap into the wisdom of the HDAA collective.

Within each forum, members have the option of receiving email notification of posts. Notification options are configurable by forum. Note that only the Ask A Question automatically sends an email for each new post. All others are opt-in. The options, set on a member's My Profile page:

• Select Topics - no automatic notice of a forum post. Instead, you go into individual threads and subscribe one-by-one.
• New Topics - an email is sent to you for each new topic posted in the forum
• New Topics and Replies - an email is sent to you for every post and reply

Other conversation options

HDAA has its own workspace in Slack, available upon request only to current members. We are exploring a LinkedIn group, also available upon request.
